With a desire to continue a magnificent music legacy, Heather Erickson began teaching piano in high school. After studying piano performance in college, she began her career of building a music teaching studio. After a year she attained her National Certification Teacher of Music and has held that each year thereafter. 

Heather Erickson desires what is best for each individual student. Her teaching is eclectic depending upon the student (and/or parent) desired outcome.

Mrs. Erickson teaches music reading, theory testing, repertoire level testing though MTNA (Music Teacher National Association) vocal exercising, chord chart and working with a band, performance techniques, composition, recording, and even music technology.

Heather Erickson Studios holds two recitals a year for her students. She registers students for desires tests, festivals, and competitions. She encourages daily practice and requires a policy to be signed upon becoming a new student.
